Services available from STS

We offer a comprehensive set of tests for condition monitoring of a wide range of oil filled equipment. From the relatively simple packages for gearboxes and bearings, through engine and hydraulic oils, to the advanced sets of turbine oil tests we are able to tailor a test package to suit you.

To ensure accuracy of results and for your convenience we are able to supply all the necessary sampling bottles, labels and overspill containers or bags, as well as the sampling pumps and tubing.

Results of analysis are reported by email as soon as possible, with typical samples taking 1-3 days. Critical results may be phoned through to enable you to react to the developing problems quickly.

A lot of care has been put into developing our reports – they provide all the results on one page together with historical data for the unit, our comments, patch test images (if available) and helpful graphs for data trending. Larger customers may prefer to use our bespoke software or web database (currently in development).

Don’t forget that our support does not stop with returning of results – our services are advisory as well as analytical.
